Innocence is a beautiful thing we loose when we grow up and learn how to act in modern society. We see bad things where there are none and we become afraid of natural behaviour and curiosity. Kids on the other hand, are still open and brave.

Brighton Freakshow was a carefully hand selected illustration show exhibiting some of Brighton's finest image making talent. Appropriately housed in the epic setting of St. Peters Church, Freakshow was a part of the 2010 Open House Festival in Brighton, UK.
The exhibition was curated by Johnny McCulloch and Mega Munden.

Mail me art is an ongoing project where artist from all over the world send a decorated envelope or a package to a certain location. Then it's all exhibited in a gallery and/or published in a book.
I participated in 2009 and this was my envelope.

In 2011 the good people at Íslenska Auglýsingastofan hired me to illustrate an ad campaign for Icelandair.
The idea was to introduce all their different destinations to people with beautiful visual ads that remind us of an old scrapbook.
I did the hand drawn and painted illustrations.
Jónas Valtýsson and Dóri Andrésson art directed the campaign which was in printed media, television and online.

Ethan Johns is releasing his first solo album soon, called "If Not Now Then When", after a long and successful career as a record producer.
The album cover was designed by Jónas Valtýsson and I did the illustrations for it.
All the songs on the album have an individual illustration.

Kamilla Vindmylla (Kamilla the Windmill) is a children's book written by Hilmar Örn Óskarsson and published by Bókabeitan in 2012.
The story is about a heroic young girl and her friends that together save the society from a mad scientist.
I did the illustrations for the inside of the book and the cover.

In April 2012 I participated in a group exhibition with artists from muses.is.
The show was held in Ísafjörður on the west coast of Iceland and was during the music festival there called "Aldrei fór ég suður" ("I never went south").
All the artists made an individual artwork and this is mine, called "I never walked on land".

I did the illustrations for Ólafur Arnalds album called Living Room Songs.
Every song on the album has a unique illustration that represents each song.
The idea is that the audience can frame their favourite song and make it a part of their own living room.
My talented husband, Jónas Valtýsson, did the cover design for the album.
